The City of Perry has hired a new city clerk and building official.
The City Council approved the appointments Monday. Paula Rychnovsky will serve as city clerk through December 31, 2017. She will be paid an annual salary of $45,000 this fiscal year, with the city clerk salary set at $48,000 as of July 1st.
Abraham Cardenas was appointed as the building official and compliance officer effective December 30th through the end of 2017. He will be paid an annual salary of $40,000 per year this fiscal year.
Rychnovsky and Cardenas were hired to fill vacancies left when Corey Eastman and Steve Tibbles resigned in October.
