Busy December for Greene County High School FFA

The Greene County High School FFA Chapter is coming off a successful December.

Their second annual jacket award ceremony was held on December 9th, where 29 new members received an FFA jacket. The event also included remarks from advisor Katie Akers and FFA officer speeches. Greene County Cattlemen’s Association purchased all the jackets for the new FFA members.

The annual FFA fruit sales also reached a record number of almost $20,000. Last year, they raised $17,500 and the year before that in 2014, they collected $15,000.
