RVR treeThe Carnegie Library Museum in Perry’s annual Festival of Trees event was a success once again.

Dozens of local businesses, organizations and individuals created unique trees and displays for all to enjoy during the holiday season.

The exhibit was free to attend and those who stopped by were able to vote for their favorite display.  Taking first place this year was Raccoon River Valley Bicycle Company with 22 votes, followed by Noah’s Ark Preschool with 19 votes and Perry Health Care Center with 17.

Earning first place with the amount of money brought in donations was Noah’s Ark Preschool, followed by Raccoon River Valley Bicycle Company, Perry Health Care Center and Betsy Peterson Designs.  In total, nearly $275 was raised to help support the library.
