A retirement celebration for two Greene County employees is taking place on Thursday.

Supervisor Guy Richardson is being recognized for his 16 years of service to the County as a Supervisor and Sheriff Steve Haupert is retiring after one, four-year term as sheriff and serving in law enforcement for the past 20 years.

The public is invited to an open house for both individuals in the supervisor’s boardroom at the Greene County courthouse in Jefferson from 1 to 3pm on Thursday.

The come and go event is free and open to the public.
