The West Central Valley girls basketball team has a full head of steam heading into the holiday break.
Head basketball coach Drew Stonewall and his Lady Wildcats may have not inherited a win heading into the holiday intermission, but they did enter with an increased scoring load. Through the first four games of the season West Central Valley has accumulated 255 total points through a 1-5 record while on the flip side, the Lady Wildcats have totaled 210 points through the past four games and coming out on top with a 2-2 record in that time frame.
Leading the way for the Wildcats has been Grace Dupuy averaging just over 11 points per contest. Leading the way in a trifecta of categories has been senior Kristin Culp posting up a team leading 20 assists, 21 steals, and averaging a team best 5.6 rebounds per contest.
The Lady Wildcats will be back in action after the break taking on Des Moines Christian in a January 3rd match up.
