A reminder to Guthrie County residents, several offices are closed in honor of the New Year’s holiday today.

The Guthrie County courthouse, Guthrie Center, Panora and Stuart city halls  and the Extension office are all closed today.

Libraries in Panora and Stuart are closed today, but the Mary J. Barnett Library in Guthrie Center is open.

Post offices, financial institutions and some businesses are closed as well.  All will reopen tomorrow for regular business hours.
