The Greene County High School basketball team is 3-7 and plays non-conference opponent Perry at Perry tomorrow night on KDLS 1310 AM and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The win total equals that for all of last season for Coach Dean Lyons’ Rams.

Seniors play a prominent role on the team including Hannah Promes. She talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about what the team has been working on over the Winter break. “In practice we’ve been shooting a lot, which I think helps us get that shooting percentage up a little bit and make more shots during a game.” The senior was asked what she likes about this team. “I think we work well together. We all get along off the court, which helps us get along on the court. So that’s fun. It’s always a fun environment to come to.”

The Tuesday night action in Perry is girls’ only. The first girl/boy doubleheader of 2017 for the Rams is set for this Friday the 6th in the middle school gym in Jefferson with the Gilbert Tigers. Both Friday games will be broadcast on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
