The Greene County Chamber’s Annual Dinner will be happening later this month.

Board President Ora Stevens says their event is scheduled for Sunday, January 29th at the Greene Room events center at Wild Rose in Jefferson.

“We plan on really good entertainment this year, we had great entertainment last year. This year we are going to have a hypnotist and comedian. And then we’re also going to have a really great dinner provided by Wild Rose as well.”

Stevens also reveals the Chamber Board officers for 2017.

“The tentative board officers are myself, Ora Stevens as president, Vicki Woodford, who is going to be vice-president and Gary Jensen from Hy-Vee, who is going to be the treasurer.”

At the annual dinner, all Chamber members will officially vote on the slate of proposed officers. All Above and Beyond and Call nominations have been received and the recipient will also be announced at the annual dinner.

Tickets will be available Thursday, January 5th. Pre-sale are $25 by January 20th and $30 at the door.
