Anyone looking for ideas of how to create healthy meals on a tight budget is invited to a class later this month in Jefferson.

Greene County Extension is teaming up with The Gardens Assisted Living for a Spend Smart, Eat Smart program. Iowa State University Extension Nutrition and Wellness Specialist Katie Knobbe and The Gardens Life Enrichment Coordinator Holly Namanny will lead the program.

It will be held from 1 to 2pm on Thursday, January 19th at the The Gardens location at 1000 West Washington in Jefferson.
