What was already a great 2016 portion of their schedule has continued to be just as solid in 2017 for the Panorama Panther wrestling team who put it all on display Saturday in the Crusader Invitational in Coon Rapids.

It was a medal stand riddled with Panthers to the tune of 10 different Panthers earning top 6 finishes. Panorama witnessed 4 of their 10 top finishers take first place honors including George Appelseth (132 lbs), Gunnar Grunsted (160 lbs), Trevor Carey (182 lbs) and Dalton Holmes (195 lbs). The rest of the field for Panorama included three 4th place winners in Dan Jensen (285 lbs), Brady Howard (220 lbs), and Kaleb Stogdil (145 lbs) alongside second place winners Tyler Van Houten (152 lbs) and Danny Nordquist (120 lbs) to go along with third place winner Noah Kirtley (138 lbs).

Next on the docket for the Panther wrestling team will take them to  Southwest Valley High school Thursday taking on East Union, Martensdale St. Mary’s, and Southwest Valley High schools.
