The Stuart City Council will meet Monday at 6:30 P.M. at the Council Chambers. The council will consider liquor license applications for Dollar General and HomeTown foods, the Urban Renewal Plan, an agreement with the Johnson Family Funeral home regarding taxes, and the Jerry Vitzthum street assessment.

Council will also consider the Kristen Renslow GCCF and Empowering Adair County Grant, Scoop the Loop dates, a Parks and Recreation proposal for its organizational structure,  a proposal to purchase the old Stuart Depot, the Deanna Harwood Mid-American contribution, and an ordinance regarding floodplain management. Appointments to the Utility Board and a discussion of  quotes for impounds and cleanups will be considered, among other matters.
