A deputy investigated a single car accident near McMahon Access. The accident is still under investigation.

A deputy assisted with a fatality accident in Boone County on 220th Street.

A deputy investigated a trespass complaint by railroad on I Avenue. Robert Mukka of North Dakota was arrested for trespass and booked into the Greene County Jail.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 800 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson Police Department, ATF agents, FBI agents, the State Fire Marshall’s Office, and the Jefferson Fire Department executed three search warrants in Jefferson. The search warrants were served at 900 North Wilson, 100 East Perry Street, and 203 East Perry Street. The search warrants are part of an investigation started by the Jefferson Police Department, in connection to a Carroll Police Department Case. Items removed as evidence in the three executed search warrants include suspected narcotics, narcotic related items, firearms and related items, and suspected stolen property. The investigation is on-going with anticipated criminal charges in the near future.

A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint in Churdan.

A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Orchard Avenue.

A deputy investigated a 911 hang up in the 300 block of Hendricks Street, Rippey.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
