The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider approving an amendment to the urban renewal plan, following a public hearing. The Council will also consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance for traffic and speed regulations, appointments to the airport commission and hiring an additional police officer.

The Council will also set a public hearing date on a loan agreement to use future tax increment financing to pay for various projects and discuss their direction with the proposed animal shelter.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
