The Dallas County Extension and Outreach office is hosting another Strengthening Families program starting tomorrow.
Designed for parents of youth between the ages of 10 and 14, the seven-week series focuses on problem solving, effective communication, setting limits, how to deal with stress and handle peer pressure.
Parents and youth are encouraged to attend. The sessions will start with separate workshops, followed by interactive activities with the adults and children for the second hour.
The cost is $15 per family. The program takes place at the DeSoto Intermediate School from 5:30-7:30pm Sundays through March 5th.
