The new Store Director at the Perry Hy-Vee says he’s looking forward to being involved in the community. 

Matt Rohe comes to Perry from the Mount Pleasant Hy-Vee.  We caught up with him during the 40th anniversary celebration Saturday to see what his first impressions are and what he likes about Perry. 

“My first and foremost goal is to just to keep the strong tradition going and just build upon it.  You know, just meeting Denny (Glick) here today and the stuff he did years and years ago that we still do.  So obviously we want to keep all that good stuff going and I just look to add to it and put my own twist on things.”

Rohe started in Perry right after the new year.  He says he’s glad to have been chosen to run the local store and is fortunate to be here.
