The Dallas County Board of Supervisors are in the midst of the budget season with several workshops scheduled over the next week.

Yesterday the Board discussed their own Supervisors’ budget, county department 99 and the operation administration/facilities department.

Today the Board will hold workshops in regards to the public health nursing, environmental health, county attorney, community services/case management, planning and development and emergency management departments.

Tomorrow’s budget discussions will be about the veteran’s affairs, juvenile court services and treasurer’s offices. Friday the Supervisors will review the human resources, sheriff’s office, conservation, information technology/global information systems and emergency medical services budgets.

The last departments, including the auditor’s office, recorder and secondary roads, will be reviewed on Monday.

All workshops take place in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
