After being weathered out of a double-dual meet on Tuesday of this week, the wrestlers from Greene County High School will be in action tonight in a quadrangular in Story City. Roland-Story plays host to the Rams, North Polk (Alleman), and West Central Valley starting at 6 p.m. All but WCV are Heart of Iowa Activities Conference schools, so the dual meets vs. R-S and NP will complete the conference dual meet schedule. Coach Mark Sawhill’s wrestlers are 3-3 in the league and 7-12 overall.

The Rams face WCV in round one, then take on R-S in the second round, and finish the evening vs. NP. Greene County is led by seniors Hunter Ruth and Isaiah Yoder. Ruth has a 15-2 record at 220 lbs. while Yoder is 25-5 at 182. Junior Cayden Gerdes (132) has the third best mark on the team at 17-6.

The HOIAC tournament is this Saturday in Alleman hosted at North Polk HS at 10 a.m.
