A Perry technology business celebrated their new location with the Perry Chamber yesterday.
Bits of Technology moved from a former location on 1st Avenue to the East Perry Plaza in August.
Owner Nathan Leerhoff says they like the new spot and being able to better serve customers.
“We like Perry and we’re glad to make Perry our home. We enjoy it here, it’s a good community, we like the community. We’re excited about expansion possibilities, we love the new space. We loved working with the Hotel (Pattee), it was an excellent spot but we needed more space. Even if we added on to the building it wasn’t going to be enough. So as we grow that kind of thing comes so we’re excited to be here with a lot more room to breathe.”
Bits of Technology is currently working with the Perry Water Board to get permission to install equipment on the water tower, which would allow them to provide wireless internet service to the entire community. The Board is expected to make a decision on the matter at their next meeting on February 9th.
