Terry Harrison has been bowling for five decades.

He purchased the Tradition Bar and Grille and Stuart Bowl back in 1974.

Harrison says, “Bowling is a lifetime sport”, meaning that it is a sport you can always participate in regardless of age.

Harrison would love for the younger generation to get out and bowl more because it’s fun and active. Harrison also gives lessons to locals and has donated his talents in the form of eight week lessons to area kids.

You get two games of bowling, teaching tips and shoes for no cost at all. “We are really trying to create a resurgence in bowling and that it starts with kids.”

With the bowling alley being in Stuart since 1961, Harrison looks to continue to keep bowling in the future.
