A new website illustrates how prepared high school students are for postsecondary education.

Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds recently released the Postsecondary Readiness Report website. The report lists every public high school in Iowa along with their college enrollment rates and student of higher education achievement rates.

It’s a collaborative effort between the Iowa Department of Education, Iowa Workforce Development, and the Board of Regents.

From the West Central Valley High School, 58 percent of graduates enrolled in a college or university within the first year of graduating. 24.6 percent of those students took an English or math class their first year of college.

Almost 70 percent of Guthrie Center High School graduates pursued further education, 8.30 percent of them took  an English or math course as a freshmen.

Panorama High School had 78.2 percent of their graduating students enroll in a college or university. Within their first year of college, 14.6 percent of these students took an English or math class.
