The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton. There was controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Charges are pending in the case.

A deputy investigated an assault in the 100 block of Percival Street, Rippey.

The Sheriff assisted a motorist at Grimmell Road and Russell Street, Jefferson.

Joseph Romeo of Jefferson was booked into the jail for Domestic Abuse Assault causing injury or mental illness.

Tuesday, January 31st

A deputy removed a dead deer from the roadway on 235th Street.

A deputy assisted a motorist at W Avenue just south of Rippey.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of Hager Street East, Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted a NCIS Agent with Hawai’i with a sexual assault that occurred in Hawaii.

A deputy investigated kids walking on the roadway in the dark with no reflective clothing on 235th Street and Parkland Avenue.

A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Harding Road, Churdan.

A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 300 block of Irving Street, Scranton.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
