The Jefferson Elks invite everyone to their 14th annual Valentine’s Dinner and Comedy event later this month.

The evening includes a social hour at 6pm, followed by a dinner at 7pm. The menu features a beef fillet with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, dinner salad, rolls and cheesecake for dessert. This year’s entertainment will be comedian Ed Vos. He is from Iowa and has taken his act around the world for the past two decades. The show starts at 8pm. The event concludes with door prizes for a free table of six people for next year’s event and two chocolate gold heart-shaped necklaces.

The event will be held at the Elks Lodge in Jefferson on Saturday, February 11th.

Tickets are $30 per person and you can reserve a table of six or eight people. Seating is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. To reserve your spot, call Les Fister at 515-370-3724.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the Elks’ future programs for youth, the community and area veterans.
