The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.

The Board will consider for approval the 2016 county employee wages publication report, the compensation board’s recommendation of a three percent increase in salaries for elected county officials and set a public hearing date for the 2018 fiscal year budget.

The Board will then affirm the Board of Adjustment’s decision on the conditional use permits for the Mid-American Energy wind turbine project.

The Board will also present their initial bargaining proposal to the Sheriff’s office employee union and hear a 2018 fiscal year budget proposal from the County Secondary Roads Department.

The meeting will end in a budget workshop.

The meeting will be at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
