In what will seem like a miniature invasion, the Panorama Panther wrestling team will send a small army of 8 wrestlers to the district 7 tournament in Underwood this afternoon.
It’s one of the largest numbers head coach Jason Kirtley has brought to the district wrestling scene and it’s the largest individual count that any team has brought into this year’s district 7 tournament.
The laundry list of Panthers looking to punch their tickets to the big dance includes:
*120 lbs-Danny Nordquist (36-13) vs. Blake Thomsen (40-10) Underwood
*132 lbs-George Appelseth (40-7) vs. Bryson Freeberg (30-11) Tri-Center
*138 lbs-Emry Colby (8-6) vs. Guy Sudmann (36-15) Underwood
*152 lbs-#4 Tyler Van Houten (48-3) vs. Jackson Dunning (21-14) St. Albert/Council Bluffs
