Sandy’s Sweetheart Dance, presented by the Stuart Library Foundation, is being held tonight at the Saints Cultural Center in Stuart. Library Director Lisa Sherman says event has changed its name to remember former Library Director Sandy Pollard, who passed away in January. The doors will open at 6:00pm. Sherman says it is an event that unites the community. “The Sweetheart Dance brings us together, just like Sandy brought us together.” 23 local musical acts are slated to perform.
