Two vehicles ended up in someone’s front yard after a crash in Perry Saturday afternoon.

Perry Police officers responded to a two vehicle collision at Warford and 13th street just after 12pm.

Sergeant Jim Archer tells Raccoon Valley Radio a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by 33 year-old Jana Summerson struck a 2007 Mini Cooper driven by 43 year-old Christopher Yelle.  Summerson was traveling south on 13th Street and as she crossed the intersection of Warford Street Yelle failed to yield.Both vehicles ended up in a residential yard on the southwest corner of the intersection. The front end of Summerson’s vehicle was badly damaged and she was transported by Dallas County Ambulance to the Dallas County Hospital. Yelle refused treatment. Both drivers  sustained minor injuries. Archer says an investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
