More than a hundred people attended Sandy’s Sweetheart Dance Saturday night at the Saints Cultural Center in Stuart. Several local musical acts and members of the Southwestern Community College Jazz group Audio Radiance performed for the crowd. The event was put on by the Stuart Library Foundation. Attendance fees and the proceeds from the silent auction of a handmade quilt helped to support the foundation, which was recently renamed to honor Library Director Sandy Pollard, who passed away in January.
