Perry Fine Arts are moving from their traditional monthly Sunday afternoon concerts to a Saturday evening next week in order to welcome a large group to the community.

The Iowa Statesmen will perform in the Performing Arts Center on February 25th.

“The Iowa Statesmen is a popular mens choir and it was formed by Dr. James Rodde in 2000.  The choir specializes in performance of traditional and contemporary male chorus literature.  The group has an annual membership of 150 singers, of which 95 percent of them are non music majors.  So there’s a lot of talented people that aren’t music majors that do like to sing and do participate.”

As always, the concert is free but donations are accepted to help support future events.

It starts at 7pm and is open to the public.
