The Stuart City Council met in regular session last night. They heard a request to allow overnight parking on downtown streets. The request was referred to the Planning and Zoning Board for review and a recommendation. They also voted to move a $250,000 excess from the sanitary sewer fund to the general fund, to help pay for street improvement projects. They will hold a special meeting Monday February 20th to discuss changes to the Parks and Rec Committee.
