The Adel DeSoto Minburn school district continues to exceed enrollment projections.

The District recently received updated projections from RSP and Associates.  They completed a new study as the result of the continuing pace of residential development spurred by the Adel tax abatement program.

The five year projection shows 2,385 students by the 2021-2022 school year, which is well beyond the predictions four years ago.  Superintendent Greg Dufoe says residential construction continues at a pace that exceeds previous expectations.

The School Board will have a full review with the demographer at a special meeting tonight at 7pm.
