The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday and approved a budget to be published for a public hearing before final approval. The budget hearing was set for the Supervisor’s March 7 meeting. As part of the budget agreement the Supervisors included a two percent raise for county employees. The salary increase primarily affects courthouse staff, healthcare staff and non-union supervisors and elected officials. The Supervisors took a separate vote to exempt themselves from the raise.
