A high-speed chase Thursday on Highway 141 all the way from Perry to Bagley led to the arrest of a Davenport man by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office Thursday.

Officials say the chase began near the intersection of Highway 169 and 141. A Dallas County Deputy tried to stop a vehicle driven by Marques Tyreek Cooke. Cooke traveled westbound at speeds in excess of 100 mph. The Perry Police Department joined the pursuit. Deputies with the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office disabled Cooke’s vehicle near Bagley and Cooke then fled the scene on foot.

He was arrested and transported to the Dallas County Jail. Cooke is charged with eluding, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain control and driving under a suspended license.
