Lots of activities are coming together for the 37th annual Bell Tower Festival.

Co-Chair Brandon Gustoff says there’s been a slight change to the entertainment lineup for the beverage garden. Due to a scheduling conflict, PopRocks will not be coming back for a third time, but instead the same company that represents PopRocks will bring Ladies of the 80s as the headliner for Saturday night of the festival. Brad Morgan will perform ahead of the main act and Micah Destival’s band, the Back Nine, is still performing on Friday night. Gustoff points out some other changes to how the beverage garden will look this year.

“We’ve expanded. We’re going to take up the entire block between State and Washington streets (on Wilson Avenue). And we’ll have two beer distributors this year, one on each side of the street. We’ll have our normal Bud Light and Budweiser guy there and we’ll also have Miller Lite this year and they’re going to be bringing more options like wine coolers type-drinks.”

He adds that they are also taking sponsorships to be included on the back of the t-shirts.

“It’s $100 if you want your logo printed on the back and $50 if you just want your name listed. (We need to) Get all of our sponsors in so we can design the backs of the t-shirts and hopefully have those up and selling by April.”

Deadline for the t-shirt sponsorships is by this Wednesday, by calling the Greene County Chamber office in Jefferson.

Other changes include serving the beef barbecue meal on the southside of the courthouse prior to the opening ceremonies Friday night, Tori Riley is heading up the Bill Riley Talent Show and Becky Greiner is scheduling acts for the plaza stage entertainment.

The planning committee continues to meet weekly at 4:30pm on Wednesday on the second floor of Jefferson City Hall. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
