A deputy investigated an illegal dumping complaint in the 500 block of Rebecca Street, Grand Junction.

The Sheriff, a deputy, Rippey Fire, Grand Junction Fire, and Jefferson Fire responded to a structure fire at 304 Cartwright Street, Rippey. The house was a total loss and there was a truck that was also totaled in the fire. The cause of the fire was undetermined.

A deputy investigated a missing child report in the 400 block of 12th Street South in Grand Junction. The child was located before the deputy arrived.

A deputy was informed of a field fire at D Avenue and 100th Street. Churdan Fire and Lohrville Fire responded to the fire and put it out.

A deputy later investigated a loud noise complaint in the 2400 block of 337th Street.

A deputy investigated a domestic abuse complaint in the 100 block of 3rd Street, Rippey.

A deputy investigated a car in the ditch on Quest Avenue and 305th. It was found that the car was blown off of the road by the winds from the storm. There was no damage to the vehicle.

A deputy investigated a complaint of a vehicle blocking the roadway at Main Street and 20th Street in Grand Junction. The car was found to be blocking the roadway because of a downed power line.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Irving Street, Scranton.

Tuesday, March 7th

A deputy investigated a illegal parking complaint in the 600 block of 13th Street South. Michael Kennedy was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael’s vehicle was towed.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 600 block of 4th Street, Rippey.

Michael Kennedy of Nevada was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy investigated a burglary complaint in the 300 block of South 11th Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th near S Avenue.

A deputy investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 300 block of 14th Street South, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 500 block of Hager Street, Grand Junction.

Steven Dzuris of Jefferson was booked into the jail for interference with official acts, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
