The Stuart City Council met in special session Monday night. The Council approved a renewal of City property insurance and agreed to provide liability insurance for an upcoming fire department command vehicle purchase. They discussed raising the price of  Stuart Aquatic Center admission for non-residents, but tabled the issue pending further consideration.They also tabled action on a pay estimate related to the downtown infrastructure project of Caliber Concrete, LLC. At their next meeting they will get input on the estimate from the City Engineer.
