The indoor track and field season continues on for the ADM Tiger boys track team tomorrow where they will take on the 24th annual Iowa State High School Classic inside the Lied Recreation Center in Ames.
Head coach Mike Whisner and his Tiger team will take part in this unique meet with just one class and no team scoring. The long jump will kick things off at 3:00 pm followed by the high jump, shot put, and 60 meter hurdles. Other events are the 60 meter dash, 3,000 meter run, 4 x 800 meter relay, sprint medley relay, 800 meter run, 1,500 meter run, and the 4 x 400 meter relay.
For ADM, freshmen Braeden Hegarty and sophomore Lucas Heitz will start the festivities off for the Tigers in the high jump. Heitz will have a quick turnaround when he joins freshman Colton Pirtle in the 60 meter hurdles. ADM football standout Gavin Osteen will be ADM’s only representative in the 60 meter dash. ADM will put fourth two participants in the 400 meter dash in the form of Sean McGee and Braeden Hegarty. Those same two will take part in the 1600 meter run as well. ADM will enter in team play when they take on the 1600 Sprint Medley Relay.
