The Perry girl’s soccer team took a huge step forward last season after posting a 9-7 record and securing a post season 7-1 win over Atlantic. The Jayettes were one of the top offensive teams in the Raccoon River Conference scoring 29 goals in 7 conference games. The good news is that Perry returns it main offensive weapons as they turn to their season opener April 4th with Winterset.
Natalie Martinez returns following her record setting 30 goal performance as a freshman last season. Junior Sydney Guerra also returns following her 13 goal and 30 point season last year. The key for the Jayettes will be to find a more consistent scoring support along improved team defense and goalkeeping. Perry will host their first 2 games of the season at Dewey field and both will be key RRC battles with Winterset and Carlisle.
