The public is invited to the Greene County Lamb Producers banquet this weekend.

It will be held at Clover Hall on the fairgrounds in Jefferson. The evening starts out with a meal at 6:30pm. It will feature either leg of lamb or lamb kabobs, along with an assortment of sides, desserts and beverages catered by Hy-Vee. Awards will then be given out to last years 4-H award winners from the county fair. Entertainment will follow with a performance from History Boy Theatre Company and the event ends with a live auction.

Tickets are $10 and are available from any of the lamb producers directors or at the door.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward improving the 4-H program, the community lamb barn project and other various local projects.
