The American Cancer Society is recruiting teams and sponsors of local families, businesses, schools, places of worship, and the community as a whole, to participate in the annual Relay For Life of Guthrie County on June 16th, from 4 to 10pm at the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School track in Guthrie Center.

A St. Paddy’s Day Kiss the Blarney Stone Relay For Life 9-Pin handicap individual bowling tournament starts today at 3pm at Incredibowl in Guthrie Center. Organizer Kim Durst tells Raccoon Valley Radio the event is a great way to learn more about getting involved in the battle against cancer.

“We will be there all the way to midnight, so you’ll have plenty of chances to come out, enjoy the evening, learn about Relay and sign up a team.”

Relay For Life information is available and team registrations are being accepted.
