There are a few important dates coming up this month for Greene County 4-H’ers to be aware of.

Those first through third graders interested in showing a bucket or feeder calf at this year’s Greene County Fair, must attend a meeting. The next one is scheduled for tomorrow at 4pm at the Extension office in Jefferson.  Third graders in the Clover Kids program that want to show rabbit or poultry at the county fair, must sign up for the Birds and Bunnies program. Registration deadline is April 15th.

As for those 4-H’ers interested in being a leader, a training class will be held on Tuesday, March 21st at 5:30pm at the Extension office. Pre-registration is encouraged.
