Partners in Family Development, in partnership with Dallas County Public Health Nursing Services, is offering a free class for expectant parents in Dallas County.

Health Navigation Coordinator Ann Cochran says the six-week course will cover several topics including pre-natal care, stress management, labor and delivery, caring for newborns and when is it appropriate to take a newborn to a clinic to get treatment. There will also be guest speakers every week.

Classes will be held are being held Wednesdays starting tomorrow and running through April 19th from 10am to noon at the Dallas County Hospital community room. Participants who attended all six classes will earn a free infant car seat.
