A local school district raised over $10,000 for cancer research.

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn high school and middle school students raised $10,100 for their Beat Cancer Today fundraiser. The student councils partnered together to sell special made t-shirts and held a penny war between the classes throughout the month of February. Beat Cancer Today is a volunteer organization ran by parents who are dedicated to beating cancer.

All funds raised go toward the organization’s efforts.
