West Central Valley Girl’s Golf Coach Traca Waddell says in her third year guiding the team she is beginning to see stirrings excitement among her young players.

“I’ve heard from two girls who were freshman last year who very excited for the season. They’ve already got their clubs out and have been reminiscing about the good and the bad from last season.”

Coach Waddell says seeing younger players get excited about the game is a great sign for the program and hopes to carry that excitement over into a successful season. The first match-up of the season will be Friday, March 31 at the 50 X 80 Golf Club at 4:00 p.m. against Knoxville and Clarke.
