One final town hall meeting is scheduled for the $22.9 million bond referendum for a law enforcement center in Dallas County.

The meeting will be held in Woodward at 7pm on Thursday. Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard says he wants to make sure the public is well informed before the May 2nd vote.

“There’s been a lot more opportunities. The goal is to do 100 (presentations). I don’t want people to say they didn’t know about it. I want people to have the opportunity to come and listen to what we’re dealing with at the Sheriff’s office.”

The meeting is at 105 East 2nd Street in Woodward. There are two additional jail tours of the current facility scheduled for this Sunday and April 23rd from 5 to 7pm. The jail tours are also open to the public.
