The interview and search for Perry’s next School Superintendent will intensify this week with a number of groups conducting their first set of interviews with the six finalist. The Perry School board has picked this Wednesday and Thursday as the two days to conduct the interviews with 5 different committees handling the two day stretch.
“The Perry school board will be meeting the individuals that they selected and the board has set up 4 additional committee’s to help out with the interview process,” stated Perry High School Principal Dan Marburger. “There will be a Teachers committee, along with Administration and Community slash Parents Committee. We will also have a Director’s committee which will include Food Service, Transportation and PACES and other similar groups.”
Marburger indicated it will be a very busy 2 day stretch not just for the candidates but also for the five committees.
“It is a real ambitious schedule with most of the interviews starting at 8 or 830 in the morning and continuing all day with tours of the community and building ending around 8 at night.”
