A private family gravesite service for John “Jack” Geopfert, 80, of Panora, will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter at a later date.  Survivors include:  Wife, Sherry.  Children, Gary Geopfert of Panora, Brad Geopfert of Lawton, Oklahoma and Kelli Geopfert of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Step-children, Jodi Landry of Panora, Carin Bassett of West Des Moines and Jay Landals of Des Moines.  23 grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Sister, Pat Ibison of Greenwood, Arkansas and brother, Bill Geopfert of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
