The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Thursday.
The supervisors adopted a floodplain management ordinance after waving the first and second readings and awarded bids for a pasture lease and two mowing contracts. Travis Redfern won the bid for 40 acres of pastureland near the county landfill with a bid of $90 per acre. It is a two-year lease. Roadside moving went to Steven Eischeid, he will be paid $45.50 per center-line mile. B and B lawn will do by location for the county in several areas of county property.
The supervisors also instructed the County Auditor to draw up a resolution to approve the Lake Panorama Rural Improvement Zone. The supervisors will vote on the resolution at their April 11 meeting.
This was the last Thursday meeting of the supervisors. They are now switching to weekly meetings on Tuesdays only.
