There have been a few calories being passed around Perry this week in anticipation of the April 13th Perry Fireworks Fundraiser. The Perry Chamber of Commerce along with several Board of Directors have been making the rounds this week delivering thank you cupcakes to several Perry businesses.

“I love it when the Board comes up with fun ideas,” laughed Chamber Director Bob Wilson. “Our board has been making the rounds this week with flyers promoting the Fireworks Fundraiser along with some sweet cupcakes to say thank you for supporting this incredible day. It’s a long day and we just wanted to make sure people were aware of what will be happening on the 13 th . It’s a great way to say thank you from the Chamber and every single cent goes to the fireworks. We start the day with zero and it is just amazing how the community comes together and ensures the fireworks will go on.”

Over 1000 cupcakes were delivered this past week promoting the April 13th Fireworks Fundraiser. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will have more on the fundraiser in the next week.
