The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session today.
Guthrie County Conservation Director Joe Hanner will provide a Conservation department update and discuss amended appropriations with the Supervisors. Steve Preader, Manager of the Iowa Public Employer Pool Program will discuss health insurance quotes. Additionally, Joyce Miller of the Guthrie County Transfer Station will be present for discussion of a billing dispute with Bohlmann & Sons Sanitation over a trash service contract.
The Supervisors will also talk with Guthrie County Public Health Director Jotham Arber about an interim appointment for director of environmental health. Arber will also discuss the environmental health budget, including raises for environmental health employees and relocation of the environmental health office.
Guthrie County Engineer Joshua Sebern will ask for approval of county mowing contracts and Guthrie County Recorder Tristan Richard will discuss part-time employee wages. The meeting begins at the Guthrie County courthouse at 9:00 a.m.
