Tyler Soll will play football next year at Doordt College in Sioux Center.
As first reported on Raccoon Valley Radio Friday afternoon, Perry senior Tyler Soll signed a national letter of intent to play football at Doordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.  Soll was a two way starter for Perry as both an offensive and defensive lineman the past two seasons.

“I just love the physical part of the game,” grinned a soft-spoken Soll. “It’s a great sport with a lot of challenges and I really enjoy the opportunity to let out some anger and play a smart, physical game.”

It is anticipated that Doordt will utilize Soll on the offensive line but ironically it was a specific sequence on the defensive side of the football that Soll looks back and smiles on.

“One of my best memories was this past fall when I recorded a pair of sacks on a late Norwalk scoring drive.  That was pretty cool.”

Soll signed the letter in front of several teammates, family and friends.
